Sunday Slaylist: The Headliners of Download Festival 2013

Download Festival 2013 main stage headliners Thrash Hits

In last week’s Sunday Slaylist we gave the whole festival line-up a good going over, but this week we’re turning our attention to the festival’s big guns: the main stage headliners. We haven’t just made one Slaylist this week – oh no – we’ve gone and made three, one for Slipknot, one for Iron Maiden, and one for Rammstein.

For Download Festival 2013’s Friday night headliners, we’ve picked Slipknot’s setlist from their headline spot at Ozzfest 2013 in Chiba, Japan:

For Iron Maiden, we’ve gone with the set they played earlier this week in Paris (which our man, Rob McAuslan, reviewed):

We couldn’t make a Rammstein Spotify Slaylist as the German band don’t allow their albums on the streaming service (yet), but we did go and make a YouTube playlist of their setlist from Impact Festival in Poland this week just gone.

Spotify is available to most of Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and a load of other countries for free – though obviously you’re better off shelling out either £5 or £10 a month for one of Spotify’s premium packages, as then you can listen to our Slaylists without having them interrupted by adverts. For our readers in countries not currently serviced by Spotify….come to Download Festival 2013 and see them all in the flesh.

We did a podcast about Download Festival 2013 last week. You really, really, really ought to have subscribed to our podcast in iTunes already, but click here and check out our latest episode if you’e one of the saps who hasn’t done just that yet.
