Sunday Slaylist: Damnation Festival 2013

Damnation Festival 2013 Thrash Hits

It’s just a few short weeks away now – Damnation Festival 2013 is (once again) going to be the heavy music event of the Winter here in the UK. We’re going to be heading up to Leeds University in force come 02 November, but until then, we’ve put together a Sunday Spotify Slaylist to hype us up for what’s (once again) one of the best one-dayer metal fest line-ups the UK has ever seen.

Headlined by current comeback kings, Carcass, the Damnation line-up this year cuts a mean picture across black, death, and experimental metal. Chuck in some mathcore, a touch of doom, and a whole hellaload of metal fans across four stages, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a better ticket for the bargain price of £34.

Spotify is available to most of Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and a load of other countries for free – though obviously you’re better off shelling out either £5 or £10 a month for one of Spotify’s premium packages, as then you can listen to our Slaylists without having them interrupted by adverts. For our readers in countries not currently serviced by Spotify….well, you’ve still got time to buy yourself a ticket to Damnation Festival 2013 and get your sorry arse to Leeds for Saturday 02 November.
