WIN! A pair of tickets and some merch from Arch Enemy

You know what’s happening right now? Arch Enemy – yes, that’s them pictured above – are on a co-headlining tour of the UK with Kreator. It’s in promotion of their latest album, War Eternal, that came out earlier this year. They’ve given us some free tickets and albums and merch to give you if YOU ENTER OUR COMPETITION RIGHT NOW.

As the tour is taking place right now (check out the dates over on their Facebook page), we’re doing things a little differently this time. Instead of a standard competition, just email us telling us what your favourite album of 2014 is that isn’t on the Thrash Hits 2014 Album of the Year list and tell us WHY. The top prize is two tickets to a UK Arch Enemy show of your choice from the current tour (not Dublin though, unfortunately), as well as a copy of War Eternal and an Arch Enemy t-shirt. We’re going to pick the answers with the best justifications. Get on it.

Don’t be lame and nominate Arch Enemy just because you think it will help you win the competition. It won’t. Remember to tell us what show you want to go to, what t-shirt size you want, and where to send your merch to in your email, otherwise we won’t pick you. In any case, why not watch the video to ‘You Know My Name’ while you try to think of an album that makes you seem cool for the approval of internet dickheads? Cool.

TOO LATE, WE PICKED SOME WINNERS. BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME, SLOWPOKE.

The small print – all our usual competition rules apply: we’re picking winners when we’ve gotten two answers that made us laugh. The top prize is two tickets to see a show on Arch Enemy’s December 2014 tour, as well as a copy of their last album and a t-shirt. The runner-up gets the album and a shirt, but no tickets. There’s no cash equivalent. There’s no paying for your transport/accommodation. Our decision is final. If you can’t go to the show, don’t waste everyone’s time by entering. Don’t be that guy. It’s Christmas.
