If You Buy One Thing This Week: pre-order Halfway To Hell by Raging Speedhorn

If You Buy One Thing This Week, make it a pre-order of THE NEW SONG BY RAGING SPEEDHORN

We bloody love Raging Speedhorn. After they confirmed of their reformation pretty much exactly a year ago, we made sure that we managed to see them play live three times. They were bloody brilliant every time. The third time was at the Borderline here in London, where the band revealed they were working on new material by slotting a new song, ‘Halfway To Hell’, into their live set. Now the Corby six-piece have confirmed the release of this new song, you can bet your last dollar that this is our pick for If You Buy One Thing This Week.

We don’t remember that much about ‘Halfway To Hell’ from that Borderline show as we drank a lot of beers and fell over in the moshpit too many times to count but it was everything you expect from a Speedhorn song. Big, doomy riffs played at pulse-pounding speed, angry, angry, ANGRY double-vocals, and more real rage than every poser hardcore, metalcore, metal and whatever-you-like-core band the UK has produced in the last half decade. Pre-order this right damn now – there are only 300 copies of this being pressed, and a fair old chunk of them have already gone.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL. Raging Speedhorn have also confirmed that they’re going to be the main support act on Will Haven’s upcoming UK tour. Not only that, but Palm Reader will be present to open the show. We are – naturally – annoyed that this kickass bill doesn’t have a London show, but we guess this makes up for the hundreds and hundred and hundreds of times bands play a single show in London and neglect the rest of the country. We’re eyeing up the cost of hitting Nottingham for this already.

Go buy tickets for Will Haven's UK tour where they'll be supported by both Raging Speedhorn and Palm Reader.

Go see them. Goddamnit.
