Tosin Abasi is an interesting bloke. The eight-string guitarmanship is impressive, sure, but that’s not what I’m talking about. If there’s one member of the Thrash Hits team guaranteed to get along with Tosin Abasi, the guitar virtuoso at the heart of Animals As Leaders, it’s our man, Amit Sharma. The pair of them giggled like children as they traded stories about Frank Gambale, Guthrie Govan, and the wonders of 7- and 8-strong guitars. We suspect if our video camera hadn’t been there, they might’ve even gotten a little fresh with each other.
