Born on December 8, 1973, Corey Taylor is the lead vocals for both Slipknot, a nu-metal/heavy metal band (formed in 1995), and Stone Sour, a Hard rock/alternative metal group (formed in 1992). A commonly known fact among Taylor fans, he was a member of Stone Sour before he was in Slipknot. Taylor did not join Slipknot until 1997, when the "old" Slipknot (which recorded one demo [MFKR] and one unreleased album [CrowZ]) parted ways with original vocals Anders Colsefni. Download Festival announces 22 more bands for 2012

If you get up very early in the morning, you’ll have spotted that Download Festival‘s head promoter, Andy Copping, announced another 22 bands for this year’s festival via his Twitter account this morning. And as you’d expect from such a large announcement, it’s a mix of old and new, big and small, and awesome and just plain awful.
