Failsafe are a melodic rock band based in and around Preston, UK, whose current line up has been together since 2005, although the foundations of the band were laid in 2000. So far they have released two albums (What We Are Today in 2005 and The Truth Is… in 2008) which were welcomed with a huge amount of excellent reviews across the UK and Europe, major UK festival appearances, a great deal of national radio/tv airplay. After their large-scale shindigs in London and Birmingham last year, Hellfire Festival has announced it’s first event for 2010: The Hellfire Club. This time they’re taking over Club Revolution in Peterborough for 3 days of the first in a series of smaller-in-scale but just-as-fucking-loud events.

For those of you lucky enought to live alongside Thrash Hits in London town, tonight sees the launch of Someone’s Yelling Fire, a new punk/hardcore/metal/screamo/emo night at the recently-reopened Highbury Garage. Get there early enough and you’ll be able to catch live sets from The Xcerts, Save Your Breath and Flood of Red. Get their later, and you get to see Thrash Hits staffers collapse at the bar following an excess of beers. Double trouble! And just a fiver to boot.
