Heaven Shall Burn is an epic tinged melodic death metal, deathcore from Germany. Technically one of the first deathcore bands with their fusion of death metal and metalcore.
Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn 1996, under the name 'Consense'. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name to 'Heaven Shall Burn'. As I Lay Dying, the somewhat surprisingly successful San Diego metalcore mob, wrapped up their recent UK tour last night in Sheffield.
