Life is funny. Music is fun. Life is serious. Music is serious. As in life, it is in music. There are moments that are hilarious and others that are much less so. Either way, they stick in your mind. Whether you revel in having fun or in poking fun, you will have had a Favourite Moment in 2013 and that’s what this list is. Some of them are utter abominations of class and style but that’s why you’re on this pitiful excuse of a website. Hooray.
Killing Joke are an English post-punk group which formed in October 1978 in Notting Hill, London, England. Founding members Jaz Coleman (vocals, keyboards) and Geordie Walker (guitars) have been the only constant members.
A key influence on industrial rock, their early music was described by critics Stephen Thomas Erlewine and John Dougan as well as industrial metal and "quasi-metal, dancing to a tune of doom and gloom," which gradually evolved over the years Read more on Last.fm
Killing Joke on Thrash Hits
March 19th, 2013
It’s time for another Thrash Hits festival splash page – and this time it’s for Hammerfest. All of our Hammerfest 2013 coverage from the weekend will be linked to on this here post, so make sure you bookmark it as it’s all you’re going to need. Yep. That means individual band coverage (photos, setlists and maybe even some reviews), all the dodgy rumours and awful gossip our man David Keevill overhears, and every single photo of Wales-based debauchery that Gary Wolstenholme and Jenn McCambridge snap will be here.

Is there anything better than a Thrash Hits Festival Splash Page? Yeah, loads of things but you won’t find the best online festival coverage on any of them. You’ll find that right here.
All our work from Sonisphere Festival 2011 is going be linked to from this page (eventually), so give it a bookmark or just don’t close it, because it’s all you’re going to need. Individual band coverage (interviews, photos, setlists and some tiny reviews), rumours, drinking games, stage times, dodgy photos of as many sexy ladies in various states of safe-for-work undress as we can legitimately get away with? It’s all here.

When Killing Joke announced a date at the Royal Festival Hall we knew it would be a great opportunity to drink Leffe on the Southbank, pretend we know more about post modernist realism and feel aristocratic whilst watching a great band in an opulent venue.

After making our first ever splash page at Download Festival 2009, we thought we’d do another with the inaugural Sonisphere Festival 2009. We’re here at Knebworth for two days and we’re going to be interviewing, photographing and generally just looking at bands all weekend. We’ll make stuff too. Come and look at it all.
