Layabouts

Layabouts image provided by Last.fm Biography from Last.fm

Layabouts are a young band formed in Madrid in the fall of 2005. The four original members (Javi, Jon, Rober and Victor) wanted to start an indie rock band after finishing their previous projects. They started rehearsing together when naturally powerful guitar riffs and catching vocal melodies bonded together to create their first songs.

As major influences they normally name Joy Division and the american garage bands of the 70’s, although you can easily recognize classic influences from bands of the 60’s. Read more on Last.fm

Thrash Hits Verdict:
You can count the number of notable Spanish rock bands on one hand so we’re always interested when one starts doing things over here. What’s more, you can listen to the Spaniards’ third album, Savage Behavior yourself in the listening post below. Fancy!
