Schammasch are a black metal/avant-garde metal band from Basel, Switzerland that formed in 2009. The band name is derived from Šamaš, the Mesopotamian god of justice. They have released three full-length albums to date. Their latest album Hearts of No Light was released on November 8, 2019. Their album Triangle is a triple-album exploring themes of life, death, spirituality, and the occult. It was released on April 29, 2016 through Prosthetic Records. Read more on
