Trigger the Bloodshed are a British death metal band from Bath, England, formed in 2006. The band comprises guitarist Rob Purnell, vocalist Jonny Burgan, bassist Dave Purnell and drummer Dan Wilding. Their full-length debut, Purgation, was released in 2008 through Rising Records.

Metal Blade Records signed the band late April and released its second full length album, The Great Depression, in early 2009. In 2010 the band started working on its third album, Degenerate, which came out on the 24th of May, 2010. Read more on

Which is why we’re quite pleased at the initial line-up announcements for the new London all-ages all-dayer, menacingly-titled Dark Days.
