Wolvserpent's focus is on creative expressions of spirituality, nature, and the occult. The duo's music creates beautifully bleak visuals of the worlds we live in and the worlds we do not. We tried to do an email interview with Wolvserpent a few years ago (which fell through for a variety of reasons). It was just after they changed their name from Pussygutt, which while being a) memorable, and b) kind of funny if you say it out loud over and over again, didn’t quite convey the air of menace that their unholy mix of occult doom, spaced-out drone and blackened moodiness really deserved. Hence: the name change to Wolvserpent. They also got the attention of Relapse Records, who signed them up to release the band’s latest long-player – and out pick for If You Buy One thing This Week – Perigaea Antahkarana.
