If Robocop was around these days, we’re pretty sure his favourite band would be Fear Factory. Their signature style of cyber-metal is exactly what a law-enforcing man-machine would be caught headbanging to. Plus he’d really relate to the lyrics. Fear Factory yet again prove themselves to be one of the tightest bands around.

That’s one hell of a name to live up to but on their debut festival appearance, March Of The Raptors rocked the Red Bull stage. It may have started off empty in there but making your band sound like an awesome dinosaur apparently makes people come to watch you. Who knew? Next up: Legion Of Haplocanthosaurus. Maybe.

Yep, Black Spiders may well be channeling the power of a couple of dirty classic rock lovechilds within their music but by gum they do tell you about it. Over and over and over again. In the same song. And again. And again. Or you can turn it around and say that they make the ‘one lyric per song’ thing work to their advantage. You decide.
