They already sent us a photo of the worst toilet in Aldershot but there’s heaps more in here. Let’s call [...]

Photos: The Wildhearts & A @ Sheffield Academy - 03 December 2008
December 13th, 2008 · No Comments
While The Wildhearts may not have had such a great time when they headlined London Kentish Town Forum on 10 December 2008, things were much different and much better one week earlier.
Gary Wolstenholme was at Sheffield Academy near the start of the tour to see the cosmopolitan rockers onstage, ably supported by the recently reformed, [...]

Despite cancelling several dates on this tour due to both Nate Barcalow and Randy Strohmeyer getting Man ‘Flu on the tour, Finch definitely made it onstage in London as they headlined the Astoria 2.

Photos + Live: Altamont Never Say Die! Tour @ London Forum - 15 November 2008
November 19th, 2008 · 6 Comments
The Altamont Never Say Die! Tour has a lot of gumption putting seven bands – and good bands at that - onto a single bill. It’s almost too much to take in, a full five-solid hours of murderous intent, spat out from the stage with all the ferocity of a rutting rhino.
Support bands have wet [...]

Live + Photos: Bullet For My Valentine, Lacuna Coil, Bleeding Through & Black Tide @ London Alexandra Palace - 15 November 2008
November 19th, 2008 · 3 Comments
Bullet For My Valentine are playing in front of about 9,000 people. Slayer did the same thing last month but with a much stronger supporting line-up and over two nights. Some might say there is no justice.
The fact of the matter is that Bullet For My Valentine are a Top 5 charting band in the [...]

Photos + Live: Funeral For A Friend @ London Kentish Town Forum - 04 November 2008
November 12th, 2008 · 3 Comments
It’s election night in America and on televisions across the world, but in Kentish Town, London it’s all about Funeral For A Friend.
The Forum is packed full and despite the chilly climes outside, there is steam rising from the sweaty shoulders of the moshpit, leaving the venue rather humid.
Mixing classics like ‘Escape Artists Never Die’ [...]

Photos + Live: Bring Me The Horizon @ London Astoria - 01 November 2008
November 12th, 2008 · 2 Comments
This is not just another sausagefest. You’ll never see this many girls at a heavy metal show until next time Bring Me The Horizon roll into town.
Of course, some might argue that BMTH are more metalcore than heavy metal or that they’re not even a little bit metal – it’s just fashion something or other.
It [...]
