Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple strudels, doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles, wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings; these are a few of my favourite things (actually, scrap the noodles). I have a wealth of favourite things, a veritable cornucopia one might say. However, floating above them all on a cloud of angel’s hair and baby’s breath, a beauteous and radiant Aphrodite in human form, is the indomitable, the inimitable Miss Taylor Swift.

Monsters Of Rock BBC2 Arena Thrash Hits

Over the Bank Holiday weekend, we kept ourselves entertained thanks to a heads up from MetalSucks.net that the entire of Penelope Spheeris’ classic documentary on 80s metal, The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years, was streaming in its entirety. Its US-centric viewpoint got us thinking – surely there must be some more UK-centric metal documentaries out there? Little did we know that the results of just a little bite of searching would be crammed so full of awesomeness.
