This is not a new Soundgarden album. This is a Chris Cornell solo acoustic album. I’d say something like:

“God only knows that we do not need another Chris Cornell solo album.”

But I know it as well. You know it too and Trent Reznor made his feelings on the matter quite clear. Ultimately, this is not a new Soundgarden album.

Putting paid to any immediate rumours of a Soundgarden reunion, Chris Cornell has announced a Pink Floyd-inspired album collaboration with hip-hop super-producer Timbaland entitled Scream.

Released on 09 March 2009, it has been billed as a “genre-breaking, pop-rock record for the 21st century that gives you a glimpse into the future of music via some of the most innovative and revolutionary arrangements ever crafted”. Uh huh.
