It’s time for another Thrash Hits festival splash page – and this time it’s for Sonisphere! All of our Sonisphere Festival 2010 coverage from the weekend will be linked to on this here post, so make sure you bookmark it as it’s all you’re going to need need. That means individual band coverage (interviews, photos, setlists and maybe even some reviews), all the dodgy rumours and salacious gossip we overhear, and every lewd photo of fit girls frolicking about at Knebworth we can rustle up will be here.

EXCLUSIVE!! Charlie Simpson enjoys drinking Jagermeister from the tap too much to reform Busted
October 13th, 2009
In all fairness, after the fourth Jagerbomb, most people like to drink it straight from the tap. The problem that most people have, however, is that their taps usually have water coming out of them. This is something that is good for rinsing the taste of Red Bull out of your mouth. Bleh.

Top 5: Fightstar – Charlie Simpson and Dan Haigh choose their Top 5 Meats
March 25th, 2009
Charlie: “You know you can buy the Bodean’s sauces to take away? What pisses me off is that you can’t get the hot buffalo chicken sauce because that is the best. They keep it from you! They don’t let it out. I’ve moved on from ribs. I do the pulled pork sandwiches and the hot chicken wings.”
Fightstar tour UK after Be Human release
February 5th, 2009
Mighty British rockers Fightstar have finished their third studio album, Be Human, so have announced a UK tour.
They will be touring from 22 April 2009 with up-and-coming British acts, Laruso and In Case Of Fire and hunky frontman Charlie Simpson has been spouting all sorts of crap about how brilliant everything is. Do you need the exact words? Do you? Really?
2008 into 2009: DissolvedIN
December 7th, 2008
Daniel Wright is vocalist and guitarist with up-and-coming Berkshire pop-punks, DissolvedIN. They’ve had a good second half of the year and 2009 could be a very good year for them so read on!
What was your highlight of 2008?
Sharing the stage with Fightstar, Story of the year, Atreyu and touring with Finch, To be honest 2008 has been fun. I feel that we have achieved a lot for the amount of time we have been going. Good times.
What’s the worst thing that happened to you in 2008?
1. Forgetting my hair straighteners for a 12-day tour. 2. Our van brakes broke on the way to a show in Munich, Germany, which meant we had to sit in the van for 18 hours or so while we waited for Jamie’s (bass player) dad to come rescue us. Four English guys sat in a big white van in the middle of Belgium gets quite a lot of attention. Bad times.
Video: Fightstar – ‘The English Way’
October 3rd, 2008
Fightstar have released the video to their new single, ‘The English Way’.
The single will be released on 3 November 2008 on their new label, Search And Destroy on CD, 7″ vinyl and as a digital bundle with a collection of b-sides – ‘Colours Bleed’, ‘Drown’, ‘The English Way (acoustic)’ and an Imogen Heap cover, ‘Hide & Seek’.
The multi-talented and wonderfully-eyebrowed Charlie Simpson plays drums on these b-sides as Omar Abidi broke his hand 4 weeks ago.
Fightstar will be on the road this autumn, supporting Feeder and release a new album in summer 2009.

Fightstar return, almost a year on from their last full length release, with a collection of b-sides, rarities and one new track. With the band only having two albums and an early EP to their name it could be seen as something of a gamble.
