There’s still very little news regarding the forthcoming new Limp Bizkit album. What we do know is that Stampede of the Disco Elephants is being released on Cash Money records, produced by Ross Robinson and lead single ‘Ready To Go’ features a cameo from Lil Wayne who features in the brand new video. With this in mind, let’s ponder who else from Lil Wayne’s YMCMB family could make an appearance on the album…

Back around the turn of the century – well over a decade before being announced for Download Festival 2011 – Wes Scantlin’s demo tape found its way into Fred Durst’s undoubtedly jizzy mitts. The Puddle Of Mudd frontman’s band had just split up after one album, so the Limp Bizkit frontman helped put together a new line-up.
They were signed to Interscope and sold five million copies of their second debut album, Come Clean. FIVE MILLION.

Fred Durst and co have called this summer-long tour of festivals the ‘Unicorns and Rainbows’ tour (because it’s so fantastic?). They played their first show in eight years last night, in Riga, Latvia. We got a couple of photos and the setlist.

Crack out the wallet chains and backwards caps, It’s time to rock the mic like it’s 2000 all over again. Limp Bizkit have announced they are to reform, tour and record under their original line-up. And that includes cantankerous guitarist, Wes Borland, who as recently as a few weeks ago was still saying he would never again re-unite with Fred Durst and co.
