Last night Thrash Hits .com partied with our good friends at Metal Hammer at their annual Golden Gods awards ceremony. Here’s all the gossip and the full list of winners.
Hanging around in the VIP bar however, the likes of Kerry King from Slayer (pictured above with Thrash Hits .com editor, Raz) and Phil Demmel from Machine Head were drinking up the copious free drink on offer. The Golden Gods were hosted by Oderus Urungus of GWAR.

Unconfirmed reports that Frank Carter from Gallows had shunned the Golden Gods in favour of a night in tattooing his knob and playing Call Of Duty 4 were confirmed by his band members. The Hemel Hempstead hardcore heroes were up for Best Live Band. They didn’t win.
Rumours were flying around about various drugs being snorted off some incredibly peachy bums. Those rumours refused to go away once the quite wonderful Fuel Girls (pictured above with Thrash Hits .com editor, Raz) started breathing fire and spraying milk at the crowd at the raucous, suitably debauched afterparty at Sin. They definitely know how to party.
Most importantly, however, lots and lots of members of the heavy metal hierarchy were honoured with a Metal Hammer Golden God award. Here is the full list of winners.
