Last week, cult progressive gutter metallers Primus stormed London’s most Port-Out-Starboard-Home music hall, armed only with two giant astronauts and whole heap of Popeye cartoons. There were metaphysical puns galore to be had at last night’s Primus show, when Les Claypool’s Derby was literally knocked into a cocked hat by one rowdy fan. The Primus founder and frontman is very much a man of hats, and to mess with a man of hats’ hats…well, let’s just say it makes you a king prick.
