With the band’s core band members usually separated by the Atlantic ocean, when the band toured the UK for the first time in five years, Ruth Booth ambushed frontman Mehdi Safa and trumpeteer Arif Driessen and for her trouble received a demonstration of some of their special skills…

That’s one hell of a name to live up to but on their debut festival appearance, March Of The Raptors rocked the Red Bull stage. It may have started off empty in there but making your band sound like an awesome dinosaur apparently makes people come to watch you. Who knew? Next up: Legion Of Haplocanthosaurus. Maybe.
