Harley Flanagan Cro-Mags Thrash Hits

We’re a little bit lost for words on this one. Last night, former bassist and one of the founder members of Cro-Mags, Harley Flanagan, went seven shades of mental at a Cro-Mags show in New York. Reports currently seem to suggest he barged his way into the VIP area of Webster Hall, NY, and proceeded to slash and bite two members of the band who he helped form, but hasn’t been a member of himself for a decade now.

Sonisphere Festival have confirmed Queen (with Adam Lambert), Faith No More, and KISS as the headliners for the UK leg of their European festival franchise. In addition to these three main stage headliners, Sonisphere have confirmed an additional twenty other acts for their 2012 UK incarnation, bringing the total of bands announced for Knebworth this summer up to 23.

You’ve read the title? Right. That’s the gist of the story. Black Sabbath will no longer be performing any of their previously announced European tour dates, with the exception of Download Festival 2012. In place of the majority of the cancelled shows, an ‘Ozzy & Friends’ gathering (including Geezer Butler, Zakk Wylde, Slash, and other, as-yet-unnanounced special guests) will fill in Black Sabbath’s place. Killswitch Engage 2012 Jesse Leach Thrash Hits

Another day, another festival announcement…today it’s Download Festival, who’ve confirmed a further six names for Donington this year. The five entirely fresh names are Killswitch Engage, Black Veil Brides, NOFX, Opeth, and Nightwish, with “official” confirmation also coming through on Shinedown, who had previously leaked their presence on the bill a few weeks back.

GOBSMACKED…well, it seems The Daily Star have gone and blown all our secrets out of the water – today they confirmed that this year’s Sonisphere Festival headliners in the UK will be Faith no More and Queen….fronted by Adam Lambert.

Yes, you read that correctly.
