In keeping with our ongoing theme of Winter metal-fest themed Sunday Slaylists, we were going to put something together today to herald the impending (and quite frankly magnificent-looking) Live Evil Festival 2013. We say “were”, because yesterday while bumming around on the internet, we found out that Dylan Hughes aka A Fist In The Face Of God got there first. And made a better mix than we ever could.

WATCH: Jacob Bannon of Converge documentary by Noisey/Vice
January 23rd, 2013
The famously non-reflective Jacob Bannon is seen here in extra-reflective mood. Soundtracked by strings, long moments of Bannon staring into the camera and absolutely no extraneous fun, this 12-minute documentary from Noisey – Vice’s music channel – focuses on Bannon’s formative years and it’s actually great. It’s the kind of film that wins awards because instead of being puerile and silly, it deals with “emotions” and “feelings” and other things that morons put in quote marks when they’re being puerile and silly.
‘No Sleep Till…’ by Vice follows SSS to Hard Rock Hell…and a really crappy amusement arcade.
March 15th, 2012
Vice’s No Sleep Till… documentary series has so far seen bands from the USA take on the “delights” that Russia and Sweden have to offer a hard-touring punk band, but this week they’ve brought everything about the show a little bit closer to home. For part three in the series, Vice joined crossover types SSS on a road trip from their hometown of Liverpool, to the bright lights of Hard Rock Hell in North Wales, taking in some of the grimmest roadside attractions along the way…
Vice continues ‘No Sleep Till…’ by following The Bronx into a sauna.
March 8th, 2012
This afternoon we would like you to ask yourself just one question – what could you possibly be doing that is so important that you can’t take ten minutes out of your life to watch Vice’s film of The Bronx sweating themselves silly in a Swedish sauna, throwing caution to the wind and frolicking in the freezing Baltic, and then playing some music for some rabidly enthusiastic Scandinavians?
Answer: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Vice kicks off new web series, ‘No Sleep Till…’ by following Cerebral Ballzy to Russia
March 2nd, 2012
It’s Friday afternoon. You’re not doing any work. As soon as your boss leaves the room, you’re dicking about on the internet, sending flirty and suggestive emails to the girl in accounts, and generally doing anything and everything you can think of that isn’t actually the job you’re supposed to be doing. We know this because you’re reading our website right now, and unless you have the super-cool kind of occupation where slacking and reading Thrash Hits is part of your job description, well, you’re probably skiving off something to read this.
So why not make better use of your skiving and watch the first episode of Vice’s ‘No Sleep Til…’ series, where they follow Cerebral Ballzy to Moscow?

Another day, another YouTube channel demanding your attention, right? Well, no, in this case – Noisey, the Vice Magazine online-offshoot that’s entirely music-orientated – launched their own YouTube channel this week, and it’s already got a hell of a lot more going for it than a million other YouTube music channels where people endlessly interview rock stars about any old nonsense they thought up in the five minutes before they switched their camera on.
