Remember last year when we started making noise about SikTh reuniting? And then they went and launched a merch store and an official Facebook page and then….well, nothing? It was kinda frustrating, wasn’t it?

Well, we got tired of waiting for more news on the SikTh reunion, so when we got one of the band’s former frontmen, Mikee Goodman, in front of a camera at Download Festival 2012, we just straight up asked him what on Earth was going on with regards to his former band.

Those of you following us on Twitter will have heard us mention earlier this week that we’d just heard a festival headliner “rumour” so mental it has blown my mind. GOBSMACKED…well, it seems The Daily Star have gone and blown all our secrets out of the water – today they confirmed that this year’s Sonisphere Festival headliners in the UK will be Faith no More and Queen….fronted by Adam Lambert.

Yes, you read that correctly.

When Michael Jackson kicked the bucket and moonwalked off to the big Neverland Ranch in the sky, there was much wringing of hands and furrowing of brows at the O2 Arena as to what to do with the bazillion or so open dates now Jacko’s shows were were cancelled. Well, we heard a very interesting rumour today that a fair old chunk of them are about to be claimed by Bon Jovi.

Well, Thrash Hits has heard from a reputable source that Faith No More are playing shows in both London and Scotland in the week prior to their headline slot at this year’s Download Festival.

And that includes cantankerous guitarist, Wes Borland, who as recently as a few weeks ago was still saying he would never again re-unite with Fred Durst and co.
