Yep, we’ll be updating this all weekend with little nuggets of unsubstantiated chitter chatter from backstage and speculative banter from out front. Whatever we see or hear that not everybody knows yet (or not everybody is meant to know) will be right here on this page.
We hinted at it earlier today, but no it’s official – Def Leppard have been confirmed as a main stage headliner for Download 2009. But they’re not the only act that’s had their place on the bill verified – so have Trivium and the reformed nu-metal posterboys, Limp Bizkit.
Yes, it’s finally happened. The mighty Lemmy Kilmister of rock ‘n’ roll overlords Motörhead is being further immortalised with his very own rockumentary.
Simply, it’s called Lemmy: The Movie and is due for release at some point in 2009. It features interviews with friends, peers and fans such as Dave Grohl, Slash and Alice Cooper talking about the man with the handlebar ‘tache rumoured to have bedded over 2,000 women. Rumours such as that are said to be confirmed or denied in this film. Watch the trailer.
Check out the official website for a little bit more information and check back on Thrash Hits .com for an interview with the makers of Lemmy: The Movie in the near future.
