It’s the first Killswitch Engage w/ Jesse Leach London show ever and their first gig over here since Download Festival last summer and it’s well and truly sold out. It’s more than just a homecoming. Is this the gig of 2013? At least until their appearance at Hevy Festival this summer…

Pre-gig meal: Wahaca. Pork pibil tacos, steak tacos, corn and a celebratory Cinco de Mayo margarita.

Noisey Steve Ignorant Crass YouTube Thrash Hits

Another day, another YouTube channel demanding your attention, right? Well, no, in this case – Noisey, the Vice Magazine online-offshoot that’s entirely music-orientated – launched their own YouTube channel this week, and it’s already got a hell of a lot more going for it than a million other YouTube music channels where people endlessly interview rock stars about any old nonsense they thought up in the five minutes before they switched their camera on.

Following their storming set at Download Festival in June, virtuoso supergroup Mr. Big are back to promote their seventh studio album What If… with a full UK tour. We like fast guitars and massive choruses, so headed down to Shepherd’s Bush Empire to watch the best band ever to share a name with a Sex And The City character.
