Everyone loves TV, don’t they? They do. Sports are great, soap operas are staple Antipodean exports and the news is a depressing tirade of war and famine, but with politics and innuendo hidden deep within their bite-sized storylines, are television series. You get boxsets and live-tweeting, comedy and drama, but everyone’s got a favourite type. Kvelertak spent the best part of three years touring their debut album around the world. As such, they had a lot of spare time on their hands, so they watched a lot of TV. Here are their favourite shows.

What’s the most metal TV show out there? No, it’s not what you’re thinking of. Or that one. The correct answer is Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil. Not heard of it? Well, unless you’re Canadian, or as well informed as us at Thrash Hits, it may have passed you by as it hasn’t hit UK TV quite yet.

Now, I’d love to tell you all about it and why you should spend all your money over on iTunes Canada to buy the brilliant first series – but an article that says, “WATCH THE FUCKING SHOW,” over and over is no use to anyone. So instead we talked to Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil creator Craig David Wallace about the show…

Watch Cancer Bats as Bat Sabbath performing ‘Iron Man’ at Sonisphere Festival 2011

Cancer Bats are one of our favourite bands in the world. They played not one but TWO sets at Sonisphere Festival earlier this summer. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS? It was our second favourite Canadians (after Avril Lavigne) playing six Black Sabbath songs. Hell yeah.

Our buddies over at interviewed the band and got footage of ‘Iron Man’. Hell. Yeah. Watch it all.
