There are so many regular features about what sick tattoos bands have got and what awesome trainers they’re wearing, but what about their haircare regime? How do they get their hair looking so cool? HOW? You were thinking it, so we asked it.

Wes Borland is a man of many faces. He’s also a man of many bands. Everyone knows him for playing guitar in Limp Bizkit but he’s been in half a dozen others. Half a dozen, eh? Sounds like perfect fodder for a Top 6, so we asked him to pick his favourite song from each of them. The problem is that he’s played in more than six bands so this list doesn’t even include Big Dumb Face.

You’ll know Wes Borland from playing guitar in Limp Bizkit. You’ll know him from being that big, creepy body-painted guy onstage next to the red-hatted Fred Durst. You’ll know that he quit Limp Bizkit because he disliked what he was doing – it wasn’t fulfilling him creatively. Black Light Burns is what he does for creativity. His avant garde industrial other band is in the UK this week, promoting a brand new concept album, Lotus Island, released just six months after their last album.

Is there anything better than a Thrash Hits Festival Splash Page? Yeah, loads of things but you won’t find the best online festival coverage on any of them. You’ll find that right here.
All our work from Sonisphere Festival 2011 is going be linked to from this page (eventually), so give it a bookmark or just don’t close it, because it’s all you’re going to need. Individual band coverage (interviews, photos, setlists and some tiny reviews), rumours, drinking games, stage times, dodgy photos of as many sexy ladies in various states of safe-for-work undress as we can legitimately get away with? It’s all here.

Fred Durst and co have called this summer-long tour of festivals the ‘Unicorns and Rainbows’ tour (because it’s so fantastic?). They played their first show in eight years last night, in Riga, Latvia. We got a couple of photos and the setlist.

Crack out the wallet chains and backwards caps, It’s time to rock the mic like it’s 2000 all over again. Limp Bizkit have announced they are to reform, tour and record under their original line-up. And that includes cantankerous guitarist, Wes Borland, who as recently as a few weeks ago was still saying he would never again re-unite with Fred Durst and co.
